Systematik der Pelodytidae

Die Familie Pelodytidae (Schlammtaucher) [BONAPARTE, 1850]

Die Familie der Schlammtaucher besteht nur aus der Gattung Pelodytes mit vier Arten. kommen in Südwesteuropa und im Kaukasus vor. Im Englischen werden sie auch Parsley frogs (Petersilienfrösche) genannt, weil ihre Färbung aussieht, als wäre er mit gehackter Petersilie bestreut.
