Nemertea

Der Stamm Nemertea oder Nemertini (Schnurwürmer) [SCULTZE, 1851]

Schnurwürmer fangen ihre Beute mit einem ausfahrbaren Rüssel. Die meisten Arten bewohnen das Meer, nur wenige Arten kommen an Land vor. Es sind ca. 1.200 Arten bekannt. Sie können eine enorme Länge erreichen, wie beispielsweise Lineus longissimus mit bis zu 30 Metern.
