Die Familie Brevicipitidae (Kurzkopffrösche) [BONAPARTE, 1850]

Die Kurzkopffrösche (im Englischen "rain frogs") sind eine kleine Froschfamilie, die im östlichen und südlichen Afrika vorkommt. Viele Arten weisen einen starken Geschlechtsdimorphismus in der Größe auf, wobei die Weibchen deutlich größer sind als die Männchen. Es sind fünf Gattungen beschrieben.
