Systematik der Pelodryadidae

Die Familie Pelodryadidae (Australische Laubfrösche) [GÜNTHER, 1858]

Die Bezeichnung "Australische Laubfrösche" ist nur bedingt korrekt, da sie auch auf Neuguinea, dem Bismarck-Archipel, den Kleinen Sundainseln, den Molukken, den Salomon-Inseln und auf Timor vorkommen. Auf anderen Inseln, zum Beispiel Neukaledonien, und Neuseeland wurden sie von Menschen eingeführt. Es sind mehr als 250 Arten beschrieben, die sich auf 35 Gattungen verteilen.
